Hello I’m currently developing a project called Trekkie – a smart travel assistant on WhatsApp, designed for solo travelers, backpackers, and digital nomads.
The goal is to build an AI-powered chatbot available 24/7, capable of:
Generating personalized travel itineraries using GPT-4
Answering travel-related questions (translations, tips, local info)
Sending alerts (safety, weather, local deals) via third-party APIs
Managing paid plans via Stripe and automatically unlocking features
The main user interface is WhatsApp (via WATI or 360Dialog), and I’m planning to handle the backend logic using n8n or another no-code automation tool.
