"Seeking Advanced n8n + Voiceflow Developer (AEST Friendly)
We’re looking for an experienced n8n + Voiceflow developer to help us troubleshoot, extend, and build robust automations. This is a remote, advanced role for someone who can architect reliable, scalable workflows and understands the nuances of connecting conversational AI to backend services. Project-based as per requirements.
The Scope:
Self-hosting: Experience with self-hosting n8n.
Troubleshoot & Extend: Fix, optimise, and add features to existing n8n workflows.
Build & Integrate: Create new automations connecting our core stack, including Airtable, Google Sheets, Gmail, Calendars, Slack, and Zoho CRM (a must).
Voiceflow Connectivity: Build Voiceflow flows (handling intents, state, and API blocks) that seamlessly connect to n8n webhooks.
Best Practices: Implement robust error handling, retries, logging, and proper security for credentials. Know n8n hacks and work-arounds.
Documentation: Create clear documentation for handover and maintenance.
Must-Have Skills:
Expert in n8n: You have proven experience building complex workflows with custom logic.
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript: You are proficient at writing clean, efficient code for the Function and Function Item nodes.
API & Auth Mastery: Deep experience with REST APIs, OAuth2, and handling challenges like rate-limiting and auth refreshes.
Proven Voiceflow Experience: You’ve built Voiceflow assistants that make external API calls and have a good grasp of conversation design principles.
AEST Overlap: Comfortable working with overlap during AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) for key meetings/stand-ups.
Location Preference: While this is a fully remote role, we have a strong preference for candidates based in Poland or Southeast Asia.
Clear Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication.
Bonus Points For:
Knowledge of message queuing systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Redis).
Familiarity with other automation platforms (Make/Zapier).
Basic SQL knowledge.

We start all engagements with a short, paid test task (approx. 2-3 hours) to ensure a great fit. This will likely be followed by a project requiring 10-20 hours over the first couple of weeks.
