I’m looking to hire someone to create a custom n8n workflow that takes a short-form video from TikTok or Instagram and automatically turns it into a new, fully edited video.
Here’s the general flow I’m envisioning:
Input:
I paste a TikTok or Instagram video URL into the workflow.
Audio Extraction:
The workflow downloads the video and extracts its audio track.
Clip Selection:
Based on tags or themes, the workflow queries a clip library stored in Supabase (or similar database).
Selects multiple clips that match the chosen tags.
Captions:
Audio is transcribed with timestamps using an API like Whisper or AssemblyAI.
Captions are styled and timed to appear over the final video.
Assembly:
The selected clips are arranged to match the length and flow of the extracted audio.
Captions are overlaid.
A watermark or small branding text is added.
Export & Storage:
Final rendered video is uploaded to Google Drive (or optionally linked in Google Sheets).
Metadata (caption text + tags for TikTok/Instagram) is saved alongside it for posting.
Deliverable:
A fully functional n8n workflow that I can run on my own n8n instance. It should be modular enough so I can easily adjust clip tags, change storage locations, and update caption styles.
