What does Mandatory owner account means in V1.0?
This change makes User Management mandatory and removes support for other authentication methods, such as BasicAuth and External JWT. Note that the number of permitted users on n8n.cloud or custom plans still varies depending on your subscription.

It is pretty much what it says, Rather than using Basic auth or JWT the account management feature is now the only option. Part of the feature is to create an owner account which is the first user and will be the system admin user.
