Checking a binary file meta-data, to check it’s resolution and codecs
I want to check uploaded files against certain specifications, to make sure they are they are the expected resolution and encoded properly.
Did you check out the Edit Image node? That one should potentially already do what you want.
I did, it seems to only work for images, not video files. Or I missed some option and it works with videos too?
No, that is correct. Sadly, it was not clear that you were looking to do that for videos, as it was not mentioned. In this case, I will leave this Feature Request open.
