Meta App Review for Facebook Lead Ads Trigger node

Describe the problem/error/question

Hi n8n community!

I need to create an n8n workflow for lead generation:

  • Facebook Lead Ads Trigger node
  • Google Sheet node for Update/Append Row

I created the whole workflow, connected the Facebook node correctly and Signed In with my Google account, I posted my Form for obtaining leads on my Facebook page, but I don’t receive the leads.

Reading the docs and tutorials it seems like I need to complete the App Review via Meta for obtaining the necessary permissions and authorizations, and I need to record my screen showing how users would use the app. The problem is:

how do I show Meta what the users would do through the n8n interface? I suppose that’s what it means when asking to show how the data are handled by my company?

Hi there, i would suggest you to

  1. do an intro, saying what you are, your business, and short brief on how you would use the permissions tht u ask
  2. do the demo video of how you would do it as a user (like manually triggering the trigger node),
  3. and then after tht, you can record the n8n briefly, showing tht the data arrives on the trigger node, and then tell it/proceed to the sheet node, where thats how you store the data
  4. make sure and stated that the sheet node is own by you and no one has access to it, and if you are keeping somthn like password thn tht needs to be keep as a randomized string
  5. stated tht the data is only used for (what you want to use it), and make sure it is compliant with the privacy policy
