Mobile phone viewing of historical executions, can't open up a node

Describe the issue/error/question

It’s not very often I do this but I’m trying viewing past executions on a mobile phone, no mouse and I’ve noticed that I can’t click into a node to examine an error or look at the data items that a node had etc

In the editor modeI can click on the cog and edit the node, but for historical executions I could do most things, select different executions, zoom in and out, but couldn’t open up a node.

Is it just my phone? I’ve a one plus running Chrome browser in mobile mode. Data is 5g…

What is the error message (if any)?

None

Please share the workflow

Take your pick of any past execution on your mobile.

(Select the nodes and use the keyboard shortcuts CMD+C/CTRL+C and CMD+V/CTRL+V to copy and paste the workflow respectively)

Share the output returned by the last node

Information on your n8n setup

  • n8n version 0.219.1
  • Database you’re using (default: SQLite): postgres
  • Running n8n with the execution process [own(default), main]: main
  • Running n8n via [Docker, npm, n8n.cloud, desktop app]: docker

Hey @0101binary0101,

That is something I have ran into as well, n8n isn’t designed to be used on a mobile device but some devices with larger screens (tablets) can work fairly well. If you can select a node there is sometimes an extra icon that appears that be used to open it.

I will dig around and see if I can find an internal ticket for a more mobile friendly view.

Cheers @Jon

I zoomed right into the node of interest and jabbed my phone several times to open up the node, it must of looked strange from to anyone watching lol.

In the editor jabbing the node, allows the cog to be selected. Just couldn’t get the historical node to select.

I tend not to take my Google Chromebook to coffee houses etc I just wanted to check the status of my nightly workflow as I had made a modification to it yesterday.
