I’ve been working on a reporting and monitoring dashboard for n8n servers and wanted to share what I’ve built so far – plus, get your thoughts on whether something like this would be useful as a SaaS product.
What’s the idea?
If you’re running n8n workflows, you know it can be tricky to get detailed insights into what’s running, where the failures/bottlenecks are, and how much value you’re actually getting out of your automations. I’m building a tool that makes this simple:
- Track all workflow executions
- See which workflows are failing, how often, and why
- Measure time & money saved by automations
- Drill down to see which steps (nodes) are slowest or causing errors
- Visualize execution history and workflow stats
- Export or share dashboards for reporting
Check out the dashboards below – all stats and visualizations update in real time as data comes in from your n8n server:
Main Dashboard
- See total executions, failures, failure rate, and run time averages
- Money and time saved are automatically calculated (handy for showing ROI)
- Detailed per-workflow stats, including error counts, run times, and savings
Advanced Analytics
- Drill down by step (node) to see where time is spent
- Top error steps and daily execution breakdowns
- Compare execution times across weeks and workflows
Why am I posting?
I’m thinking about making this a SaaS offering – just connect your n8n server, and get all these dashboards out of the box (with history, user management, and more coming). Before I go too deep, I want to see:
