N8n app approval by Slack

The n8n connector App isn’t approved by Slack so I can’t use it in my company where only Slack-approved Slack apps are used.
More information from our IT:

This one has not been approved by Slack and is missing its S&C tab. Therefore we know nothing about Security and Compliance on this app:
Common risks include:
• Potential security vulnerabilities
• Lack of official support and updates
• Possible unexpected or malicious behavior
• Non-compliance with GDPR or other privacy regulation
• Data residency outside the EU

Is there any hope of this being officially approved by Slack so I and others can use Slack in n8n in coorporate setup?

At the moment, the n8n Slack connector is not officially approved by Slack, so it won’t appear in the Slack-approved apps list. This is why your IT team can’t allow it in your corporate setup.

There’s no public timeline for when or if it will get official approval.
