N8n CE has lost 24 hours of data after docker update

Describe the problem/error/question

my server install has lost the last 24 hours of activities. I’ve noticed it this morning after i have updated the docker image and run a process: the workflow created yesterday and the related activies are gone.

Even the community node installed is gone, it’s like a full revert ?

  • Database (default: SQLite): SQLITE
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main): default
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app): Docker
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS

Addendum:

Since i have a daily backup on the server, i’ve restored the backup made at midnight… the machine has been rebuilt and the data is still missing.

I don’t know what to think!
