N8n cloud space not opening – upstream request timeout

Hello,

My n8n cloud workspace is not opening and shows this error:

upstream request timeout

The editor does not load, so I cannot access workflows.
This started after running a heavy workflow (large data/file processing).

How can I restart the instance or fix this?

@isha_chohan that heavy workflow probably ate all the memory and the instance is stuck, reach out to [email protected] and ask them to force-restart your cloud instance β€” you can’t do it yourself from the editor since it won’t load. mention the workflow that caused it so they can flag it

Hi @isha_chohan if the admin dashboard is available, you can restart your n8n from there, and try this magic link if this works:

and if that does not work consider reaching out to support as only they can fix the issue related to your n8n instance on the server side:
