Hey everyone! :waving_hand:

I’m currently building an open-source project for myself, my clients, my community, and the entire n8n ecosystem — something I’m calling n8nDash: a dashboard platform designed to supercharge the way we use n8n automations, webhooks, and data integrations to simplify and elevate life.

Whether you’re helping clients, supporting family, or optimizing your own workflows — this tool will allow you to build custom dashboards that bring together n8n automations, widgets, and live data in a single beautiful interface. Think of it like a command center for your digital life!

• Connect n8n webhooks to dashboard buttons – one tap to trigger magic :man_mage:

• Easily share dashboards via JSON imports/exports

• Widgets to display live data (e.g., calendar, CRM, email stats, social metrics, etc.)

• Future goal: Use on touchscreens to run your world with a fingertip :sparkles:

Just vibe coded the FIRST version!! Cursor and ChatGPT like wow in a couple of hours I’ve already fleshed out so much - This would have taken me weeks to get to :open_mouth:

Just added capability to update widgets induvidually via a button click (Runs an n8n Webhook) OR run ALL widget webhooks at the same time with a single master button at the top!

Also the widgets change color from RED to GREEN when they have obtained the latest data from your Webhook!

I’ve also added a new widget for RSS feeds (Still need to test it).

My first vibe coding session is about to end, but wow its wild what’s already been accomplished. Check out the github and try it yourself :slight_smile:

Seems that I was too excited about a feature that clearly is not ready yet LOL! I was trying to add Kanban, but I’ll have to hold off on that feature for now.

:rocket: Weekend Build Update!

Just used Loveable.dev over the weekend to build a clean, intuitive frontend UI for my open-source n8nDash dashboard! :wrench:

Still need to wire it up to the backend (lol :sweat_smile:), but the interface is already looking super slick and ready to go!

This dashboard is all about making n8n workflows beautifully visible with a single dashboard for each client you are working with OR yourself — stay tuned as I connect it all together!

Thank you!! Yes I’m still working on it right now, all the code is tailwind and disconnected right now from n8n so working towards merging the two worlds together (n8n + database system + the new dashboard style). It will take time as I’m in between n8n tutorials and clients and family life at the moment so it’s a bit hard to get it done however it is definitely on the priority list!!

Hey All! I’m in the process of completing my latest major n8n training program (AI + Automation Foundations Level 2) so when that is done I’ll be back onto a more normal schedule of 1-2 videos weekly and working on n8n dash again some more.

Just vibe coded v2 of n8nDash using ChatGPT 5!!

Even I don’t know what it looks like yet HAHAHAA But I’ll be uploading the output to the Github later on tonight :slight_smile:

IF it does work, it’s a testament to how powerful ChatGPT has become and what we can do with it. I literally laid out all the things I wanted for myself in a dashboard system and what I would like to see for me and my clients, so hopefully its something that:
A. WORKS
B. Is easy to use (Literally told GPT to create onboarding tutorials, one for n8n AI Agency Owners and one for their End Users!)
C. Can grow over time

I WILL NEED everyone’s help, it’s a public project, so feel free to pull, make changes, reupload (Note: I’m not the best at git, know enough of the basics to use it however running ongoing projects with pull requests, etc. is not my main strength. If someone wants to come in and help on that let me know and anyone else in the community who wants to contribute, feel free to join in).

So my vibe code first attempt with ChatGPT 5 didn’t go at all as planned - Massive fail HAHA!! (You’ll see the fail in the current version on Github - all part of the process)

But if you know me, I never give up!!! My AI + Automation brain kicked in So here is what I did next:

I told ChatGPT 5 the following:
”Okay this is not working, we need to start over again from scratch from the beginning because you did not get the results I wanted. I will give you TWO prompts that will guide you. let me know when you are ready for the two prompts, work with both to lead you to better results”

I then went to CLAUDE and PERPLEXITY to generate two full prompts by asking each of them the following:

”I need to write a prompt for ChatGPT 5 to build the perfect n8nDash app. Here is what I have, but It is not doing it right and the output that I get is lacking the quality level I was hoping for. Please rewrite the best prompt possible for a high quality output: [n8nDash Specs and Notes from my Original Items]”

They both returned with prompts which ChatGPT 5 took in via canvas mode and is now working off of TWO distinct unique prompts from two OTHER LLM’s…BADASS!!! I know lol

Anyways, lets see the output from that!! I’ll share the new results on the latest Github today…

The main goal is a beautiful dashboard for end users and clients that run widgets connected to n8n workflows. The end users simply see a beautiful view and results. We can all then customize the views as we wish for the clients and even share them easily like we can n8n workflows (Imagine if you have a CEO client dashboard and then just copy/paste that for another CEO using a different set of n8n workflows).

We have clients from different industries and backgrounds and a lot of them have no clue about AI + Automation. Sure I could do all this with lovable and custom dashboards, etc. but I wanted something unified that could be shared and figured there are a lot of people in our community doing the same things so might as well get everyone on board to build the ultimate n8n dashboard system!!

Okay enough of my chat and vision for n8nDash :slight_smile: Time to continue vibe coding this mvp!!!

NOTE: These are the early preview screenshots. Vibe coding it all out - right now the broken version is up on github, but will be replaced with this newer version which will become the baseline going forward :slight_smile: Give me some time as I get this working lol :slight_smile:
