Nodera: The free mobile app to monitor and run your n8n workflows from your phone 📱

Hey everyone!

Like all of you, I rely heavily on n8n. But I kept running into the same problem: I wanted a simple way to monitor and control my workflows from my phone. Opening my laptop just to check executions, activate workflows, or debug failures felt unnecessary. I tried existing apps, but none gave me the clean, focused experience I was looking for.

So I built my own: Nodera

Nodera is a mobile app that connects directly to your n8n instance and lets you monitor, control, and now even edit your workflows - all from your phone. It’s completely free, requires no account, and your credentials never leave your device.

What you can do with Nodera:
• Monitor all workflows from a single dashboard
• View active, inactive, and total workflow counts
• See execution history with status, duration, and timestamps
• Filter executions by success, failed, running, or date range
• Activate or deactivate workflows remotely
• Trigger webhook workflows instantly
• Search and filter workflows by name
• Visual charts and success rate statistics
• Star your favorite workflows for quick access

New in recent updates:
:gear: Edit workflows directly from the app - rename workflows, adjust settings, toggle nodes, and update parameters
:bellhop_bell: Fixed notifications - get instant alerts when workflows fail or run, even when the app is closed
:bar_chart: Improved execution charts with detailed duration stats and touch tooltips
:locked_with_key: Self-signed SSL support - perfect for self-hosted setups
↔️ Nodes now display in the correct execution order
 Shake your phone to instantly refresh data
:magic_wand: Plus lots of bug fixes and UI improvements

Privacy-first by design:
• No account required
• No third-party servers
• Direct connection to your n8n instance
• API keys stored securely on your device
• Full HTTPS encryption

Basically, it gives you full visibility and control over n8n without needing your laptop.

:red_apple: iOS: Available on the App Store
:robot: Android: Currently in closed beta - Google requires 12 testers for 14 days before public release. Got them and the Android app will be released in around 6 days.

This is still actively evolving, and I’d really love your feedback on what to improve or add next.

i don’t see any reference to source code. i’m curious about your decision to release a completely free app but not release the source code. i’m concerned that even if you aren’t intentionally doing something nefarious, that an application at this scale made by a single developer may inadvertently include mistakes that leaks tokens or keys or whatever. do you have any real testimonials? any vulnerability testing? or is this running on “trust me bro” vibes ?

i want to use this. it looks amazing. but i value my security and privacy too much to install something on my device that has absolutely nothing in terms of validating any of your claims.
do you understand my concerns? i mean your account was created less than 6 months ago, you’ve had zero interaction in this community other than this post announcing an app you created that promises to do so much.

not trying to “throw shade” - just want to protect the community (myself included)
