yah ! i have same issuse

I have the same issue.

Trying to access gpt-4o-mini via an AI Agent. Super simple workflow. Just signed up to n8n today and using the cloud version on a Mac running MacOS Sequoia 15.3.1.

Seriously solve this problem. I see the same reply from n8n but no solution

Apparently the name you are using in your tools is not supported.

Open each tool and check their names.

Try to use names like these:

  • get_users
  • find_url
  • search_customer

Avoid special characters.

And if the name isn’t available inside the tool, try changing the name of the node itself.

I have the same issue, I’m using last version of n8n, everything was working fine then this error, I verified the names and even changed them, but nothing changed

You can see that the name is the same for the Openai tool that is giving the error.

I also made a new workflow just in case and started from scratch again and this is what I got.

This fixed it for me. Thanks @solomon

In my case, I had more than one MCP and it only worked when I removed one.

I changed the method names to the suggested ones and it worked.

My version is already 1.91.3
