Outlook : display unread messages

Hey Team !

I just started to use n8n.

My aim is to export to Slack the Subject of my not read emails.

I succeeded in

  • connecting to Outlook
  • connect to the correct folder
  • get all messages : so even the unread messages :frowning:

I guess there is something to deal with ā€œisRead eq falseā€ or around filter but i canā€™t manage to do it

Any help woudl be appreciated !

Hey @damienOp,

Welcome to the community :sparkling_heart:

If you want to trigger this workflow when you receive a new email, instead of the Outlook node, I would use the IMAP Email node.

However, if you want to use the Outlook node you will have to enter the filter as plain text without the expression, as shown in the screenshot below.

Can you tell me which node would be the best if i want to get data form these unread email : for instance : subbject, body, and so onā€¦

I created also the imap Node

trying to get the same result ā€¦ :wink:

seems to work fine : i get the right amount of unread messages :
