Problem with delete execution in it's workflow

I have 3 running workflows and I tried to delete execution history each night to avoid problem with storage.

I can trigger it and delete the execution of other workflow but for the same workflow I have this error:

Problem stopping execution

Only running or waiting executions can be stopped and 677 is currently crashed.

When I delete the middle nodes everything works but I don’t want to keep these executions in this workflow. Please help me to do it in the right way.

Hey @kpakfar,

Have you checked the log to see if it shows why it has crashed? Are you also trying to clear the history of a workflow that is currently running?

Rather than having a workflow delete the database executions have you also tried to use the options we have like the 3 below that would automatically take care of it.

EXECUTIONS_DATA_PRUNE
EXECUTIONS_DATA_MAX_AGE
EXECUTIONS_DATA_PRUNE_MAX_COUNT
