I’m currently using the self-hosted Community Edition of n8n and running into an issue with the evals feature. While I was able to successfully set up and view metrics for one workflow, I’m encountering a limitation when trying to configure evals on a second workflow.
Specifically, I can run the second workflow in the editor without issues, but the metrics don’t appear in the UI under the Evals section. Instead, I receive a message indicating there’s a limit to custom metrics.
Could you clarify whether this is a limitation of the Community Edition, and if so, whether a license or subscription is required to lift that restriction? Or is there something I might be misconfiguring?
The Evals feature supports custom metrics for only one workflow in the free tier. To enable evals for multiple workflows you’ll need a paid license (either Pro or Enterprise plan). This isnt a misconfiguration ig.thats just how its designed.
Registered Community Edition enables analysis of one evaluation in the Evaluations tab which allows easy comparison of evaluation runs over time. Pro and Enterprise plans allow unlimited evaluations in the Evaluations tab.
Not clear about starter plan. But maybe only one same as community edition
