Reddit client id and client secret key

Describe the problem/error/question

Unable to get these two keys from reddit, it just goes into a look in reddit loop.

Also, I’m not sure why it is showing my domain there. It is a private hosted n8n platform on my pc.

Before the domain wasn’t showing but recently I created zero trust cloudflare and this domain section is now popping up, I believe instead of the domain, it used to say localhost:5678

Anyways when I click on the https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/42728983564564-Responsible-Builder-Policy it just goes into a loop

I browsed the pages of reddit developer terms and data api terms. Where it says must register to use the API in the screenshot, it takes me to - https://www.reddit.com/r/reddit.com/wiki/api/#wiki_read_the_full_api_terms_and_sign_up_for_usage

Then it ask to register - https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=14868593862164

After clicking to register (https://www.reddit.com/prefs/apps/) it says to create an app which takes me to the old reddit platform and it starts to loop again from the below screenshot.

How to actually get the reddit client id and client secret key so I can login to reddit on n8n?

I think Reddit just realized that n8n users might start turning their platform into massive bot networks :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: so they decided to restrict API access behind these forms.

I already have an app created in the old days:

However, when I try to create another one I get an error!

IMO that’s the most logical explanation..

Anyway, just follow through with their steps until you get access, and let us know what happens..
