This request is less one for a new node but rather one for an added functionality of an existing one.
The “Google Vertex Chat Model” Node currently posts an API request to a server in the US, without the functionality to change the region/server the request is posted to. Unfortunately, that makes it impossible to use, if you’re working from Europe. It would be of great help, I can imagine not only to myself but also to other users, if the function, to be able to adapt the region would be added.
My use case:
Currently, most of my architecture is set up over the Google Cloud, which I am very happy with. I would like to now use my own models and models from the Model Garden, to build an AI Agent. This is hung up on the fact, that the node for the Vertex Chat Model simply doesn’t work for the region I am working from.
I would be insanely thankful, if there could be the possibility for a quickfix, so that I can set up my agent.
