“Titan Text Embeddings v2” should be relabeled as “Titan Embeddings G1 - Text v2”. Adding the “G1” would help to differentiate it quite a bit from the other AWS embedding models.
Currently, it is very easy to confuse “Titan Text Embedding v2” (1536 dimensions) with “Titan Text Embedding V2” (1024 dimensions)
On AWS, this is how the embedding models are represented.
Titan Text Embedding v2 = amazon.titan-embed-g1-text-02
Titan Text Embedding V2 = amazon.titan-embed-text-v2.0
