Response mode in webhook

In Webhook setting I see “response mode” that I can’t understand how can I use it, can you please help me?

Depending on the option will it either:

  • start the workflow and answer that request with a default response or
  • start the workflow and run it till all the nodes got executed and then return the data the last node outputs as a response to the request

Hi Jan, i have a question to this function. Your Sample for this https://n8n.io/workflows/119 works fine. But i have Problem to integrate a Spreadsheet file. In the middle it dont works also in the end no response is coming.

Sorry what do you want to do exactly and what do you want as response from the webhook?
