Show current API versions [GOT CREATED]

It would be nice to see which API Version I’m on, on each node. So when I add the Shopify node for example, I know which Shopify API Version is used.

Currently, I wasn’t able to find out which API version is used.

Hey @renetheastronaut,

That is not a bad idea, If it helps at the moment for Shopify it looks like we are using 2019-10 so we should probably update that.

Hi @Jon,

thanks for the quick reply. An update here would be great, since I can’t really check on the documentation anymore. Should I make a separate request for that?

Hey @renetheastronaut,

Nah I have made a note to look into it at some point soonish.

Awesome @Jon Thanks a lot.

I’m starting to get some emails from Shopify about my custom apps saying that the API is making outdated calls but I can’t for the life of me find which node it is. After going through them all I realise it could be the outdated API calls from the integrated Shopify node.

Would it be possible to at least update the API version to something more current?

If shopify starts complaining about this, then it is probably good to update indeed.

I see it is still using 2019-10
So Jon was probably too busy helping people to get this one ticked of his list.

Thanks for the reminder, we have bumped the priority of the issue and will report back here.

Definitely would be useful! If at least so, we can also make sure we aren’t using the outdated one ourselves.

Hey @Zewb,

I have just taken a look and this is still in the backlog, I am currently working on a couple of other issues but will pick this up shortly.

We have updated the API version in [email protected]

I forgot to add this issue to the change so the notification didn’t get sent, As part of the change to update the API version under the settings for the node you will also find the below which will tell you the version we are using.
