Slack files.upload API will not be available for new apps soon

Starting May 8, 2024, Slack files.upload API is will soon be inaccessible by new Slack apps. Related entry in Slack’s changelog.

Is there a plan in motion already to update the n8n Slack node to use Slack’s new file-uploading APIs?

We discussed this earlier today, and are tracking it internally in a ticket NODE-1330.

As mentioned here, I can’t upload file to my new workspace

Newly created apps will be unable to use files.upload beginning May 8, 2024

Please fix it.

Welcome to the community :cake:

This was fixed in 1.41.0 which was released last month, If you are seeing this on a newer version of n8n can you try adding the Slack node again making sure that under the node settings at the bottom it displays Slack node version 2.2 (Latest)
