Sort not working on Airtable data

Describe the problem/error/question

When adding a Airtable search result as a source, the sort parameter appears not to have any impact on the results.

I also notice that the sort order is never stored in the workflow source. It only ever contains the field name, regardess of the sort order.

What is the error message (if any)?

No error, just that the sort order is not being applied.

Hi @pembo, thanks for sharing! I couldn’t reproduce the issue you’re describing on my end, could you tell me which column you selected to sort and what’s the expected vs actual outcome?

Thanks for your reply. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you.
It may have just been a glitch with Airtable at the time. I was looking to sort by the date, but the resulting output always displayed records in the order that they were created.

In the meantime, I’ve updated the workflow and the underlying version of n8n and can’t recreate the issue.
