Hello everyone! Tell me, is there a way to send text with a photo in one message in Telegram without text size restrictions? Using the “send photo” node with the “Caption” setting imposes a limit of 1024 characters, but this is very small. Is there another way to send without limitations?
Maybe another text message along with the photo messaege?
Since the rule is set by Telegram. Nothing we can change honestly.
But Photo Caption more than 1024 characters is quite long.
Did you send a test and see how it looks like in Telegram?
Hello, yes i did it. I understand about the limitation. The problem is that I wanted to publish articles in my channel, and they are usually 2-3k characters. I wouldn’t want to split them into two messages. Just wondering if anyone has implemented this using http requests or other nodes?
Nearly impossible since the limit is set by Telegram not n8n node.
Even use http request will hit the same limit.
Or did you see other channel can post the long caption before?
You are absolutely right, darn, I didn’t think about that. Then it turns out there are no options left. No, i didn`t
So split to multiple message might still an option.
Or perhaps move the text to something like blog or a page and send link to user.
