Telegram trigger gives no output [NPM]

Describe the problem/error/question

  • So I have a telegram trigger which I have set up with the bot token etc. but I don’t get any output from it when I send a message or whatever. I start n8n with: npx n8n start --tunnel

So the main problem lies in the trigger, I can normally execute a single send message node.

What is the error message (if any)?

Welcome to the community :raised_hands:

There was an issue with the tunnel option not working correctly with npm on Windows so I suspect you could be seeing an issue with that. Can you try setting up a webhook node and try to access the URL you get from your browser. If that also fails the best option would be to use the recommended install approach and use Docker or use another tunnel service like a Cloudflare tunnel or ngrok.
