The AI feature on canvas occasionally get disconnected

The AI Chat feature on the n8n cloud canvas is handy.

However, occasionally this AI feature will stop working (Error: “Unable to connect to n8n ai service”)

The workaround I found: just to make random mistakes in the workflow, to trigger an node error, then click “Ask assistance”. In this way the AI connection will be back

Hi @garon_jinlongyu, super cool to hear that you found value in the Assistant, and thanks so much for posting your issue. What’s happening here is that we’re ending the chat session after one hour of inactivity and don’t have a proper message/way to reconnect here. I added a ticket for this internally.
