Trouble with Node Execution Visibility in n8n After Moving to External Network

Describe the problem/error/question

I’m using n8n on my personal computer and have set it up to be accessible from an external network. Previously, when I was running n8n locally, the execution status of the nodes in my workflows was visible and functioning normally. However, I’m now experiencing an issue where I cannot see which nodes are currently executing or their statuses. The workflow does not complete until I click the “Stop current execution” button, and when I do, it skips the intermediate nodes and directly shows the results. I’ve checked the connection settings and ensured that the environment is configured correctly, but the problem persists. I’m looking for solutions or troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue.

What is the error message (if any)?

There are no error messages displayed.

How did you set up your external network? Can you share your reverse proxy settings? Are you using nginx?
