Twitter will be shutting down their free API’s next week. They’re talking about a paid tier - I’ve seen some rumors about pricing but wasn’t able to confirm anything yet. If I’m reading this correctly this will break all n8n Twitter automations.
We have been following this as well but there is very little information on what is happening, From the way I read it they are just no longer allowing free access to the API so you would need to pay to use it in theory this shouldn’t break any existing integrations assuming you decide to pay the blue bird for access to their API.
I guess we will have to wait for more information to be available to work out what is going to happen.
Do we have an update on this here? It looks like I can’t use the Twitter nodes to tweet to Twitter any longer, by following the Twitter credential docs: Twitter credentials - n8n Documentation
Imo for posting via the auth1 elevated access is needed which seems to be gone as a concept, while auth2.0 seems to contain the posting feature with the Basic Twitter API?
