Unable to manually add Client ID and Secret ID for Google Calendar

Hey I am new to N8N and wanted to try build a Google Calendar Agent

but I am unable to manually add the Client ID and Client Secret
It just shows “Sign in with google”

I deleted all my saved credentials (Don’t know if that was necessary tho)

Also I tried with other google nodes and for some reason I can manually add Client ID and Secret for the Drive tool/node but can’t do same for Google Cal, Gmail and even Sheets

  • n8n version: 1.84.1
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main): Not sure what this is
  • Running n8n via: Cloud
  • Operating system: Windows 11

Does it still function without it?

I am unsure if its related but they did patch a recent bug related to new google auth changes, it is being released monday.

Hey thank you for replying - I somehow managed to make it work just copied the Authentication URL and it kinda did the job
but I am hoping it gets fixed hehe.
