The nodes in n8n are constantly evolving, can you make an option at an node to use the newest version of the node? And also revert if it did not work as expected. Now we have to copy the content of the node in the new version of the node.

We have thought about this before but sometimes when we create a new node the inputs fields can change so in those cases we wouldn’t be able to map the fields the same would apply if we used a new component but I guess if the change was in the same major node version we could look at doing this.
Could be worth adding this as part of the feature request here: Show node version in UI for all nodes
