I am having a issue. The “connection lost” blinks or does not connect. I have asked chatGPT and Claude and can not fix it. Has anyone else had this issue? I use self-hosted. I also tried using the latests version with the same outcome.

Looks like self hosted and a CORs issue. You should reference this question I worked on some time ago for setup with nginx in front of n8n (scroll to the bottom for ‘connection lost’ issue):
That should help w/ CORS and, maybe, CORS + WSS issue. If that previous question is not applicable to your situation, then let me know.

Thank you! This is very strange. I did use your CORS code. Tried with Claude about 20 different times and various combinations. ( hours using Chrome incognito and standard ) – No luck –> Then, I am using a Mac and tried Safari, wala it worked! I am a new Mac user. Do you know the Chrome did not work? If it clears ?

Sorry, I missed your last question. It’s great that it’s working. So, works w/ safari but not Chrome. Have you tried a hard reload with Chrome?

Yes, I tried over 20 times, with help from chatGPT using both standard and incognito
I found it was the VPS domain install, switched domains and its working
