We build AI integrations and workflow automations for financial markets, healthcare, HR, and other data-intensive industries. To scale delivery, we is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer with deep hands-on experience in n8n and workflow automation. We are looking for someone to join a temporary project in January/February and if the project work is successful, are looking to hire the person full time.

What you will do

  • Design, build, and maintain complex n8n workflows across multiple industries, with a focus on financial markets (commodities, rates, FX, equities).

  • Translate client requirements into robust technical architectures and implement end-to-end automations (APIs, data pipelines, integrations, error handling, monitoring).

  • Work directly with clients as a technical lead: run workshops, gather requirements, clarify edge cases, and propose pragmatic solutions.

  • Own projects from scoping to deployment, managing multiple concurrent implementations under tight timelines.

  • Collaborate with our founder to productize repeatable solutions and improve internal standards, templates, and best practices.

  • Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and ensure reliability, security, and data integrity.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client data, systems, and trade-sensitive information; follow security and compliance procedures for data handling.

What you bring

  • 4+ years of experience in solutions engineering, automation engineering, or similar client-facing technical roles.

  • Strong, demonstrable experience building advanced workflows in n8n (or very similar tools such as Make/Integromat, Zapier, Airflow, etc.), ideally including custom JavaScript/TypeScript functions.

  • Experience integrating APIs, webhooks, databases, SaaS tools, and third-party data providers; comfortable reading and using API documentation.

  • Track record of working independently and owning technical delivery for multiple client projects in parallel.

  • Strong client orientation: able to simplify technical topics, push back constructively, and keep stakeholders aligned on scope and timelines.

  • Excellent organization skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, remote, asynchronous environment.

  • Bonus: Experience with financial markets (trading systems, market data APIs, risk/portfolio tools) and/or workflows in healthcare, HR, or similar regulated industries.
