We Need Help ASAP. I was creating a workflow and was testing when it suddenly Executed hundreds of times and exhausted our Execution limits

I was sending some tests to check a webhook trigger till it shows the complete data I was looking for. Just working on a workflow when we suddenly hit execution limit. When we checked, there are HUNDREDS of executions like 50 executions per second. I immediately drafted the unfinished workflow and even deleted the trigger just to be sure. Archived it as well. We are requesting for one-time reset of the execution limit as we have important internal workflows running in our account (we have an agency). Need help ASAP, we don’t want to upgrade unecessarily for this bug.

Information on your n8n setup

  • n8n version: [email protected]
  • Database (default: SQLite): might just be the default
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main): I’m not sure where to find this
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app): Desktop App
  • Operating system: Windows

The forum cant reset execution limits, youll need to email [email protected] for that. Also you mentioned Desktop App but execution limits are only an n8n Cloud thing so youre probably on Cloud. Theres actually a known bug with webhook executions multiplying on Cloud right now so definitely mention taht in your email, they should be able to see the runaway executions on their end

I’m sorry who should I email again? It would be best if they have a phone number we could Call. I also cannot find an Email address to reach out to them. Like N8n Customer service email or something.

This is the first time we have issues with N8n. And yeah your right. We are accessing N8n via Web Browser so it should be cloud.
