We need help publishing our Integration for ScrapeGraphAI

Hey everyone! :waving_hand:

We’re currently working on integrating ScrapeGraphAI as a custom node for n8n, and we’re planning to publish it soon as a community contribution.

:white_check_mark: What we’ve done so far:

  • Built a custom node that connects to ScrapeGraphAI’s API.
  • Followed the n8n node creation guide.

:construction: The issue we’re facing:

We’re trying to test the node locally by linking it to a local instance of n8n, but it’s not showing up in the UI or available for testing.

Hi, how are you testing it? What is your setup that you are using?

edit : i first created the node , then i was trying test on the local n8n instance by doing npm link

Using the local instance of n8n

Hi, there was something with the linking and the recent change to pnpm and npm. The linking didn’t work as expected. Did you solve this?
I think they reverted to a previous version of package.json.

Pnpm link didn’t work.

I guess from your statement “npm link” you did that

Does it give any error, or it just doesn’t show up?

Did you try the example first?

I tried with pnpm also tried by using old npm version of package.json,
Also tried with example they work.
But my node with pnpm link dosent show up in the n8n

Hi, this is “normal”. I didn’t get it to work with pnpm link either.

Either nom link or start using docker
