At first I joined the community so that I can find clients and help them with automation but when I entered I saw this answer and done campaign. Now it excites me more but I’m sad after seeing that If I have to get rewarded I have to be in the top 10.

Our forum traffic is surging

You may have noticed on social media, YouTube and also here on the forum: n8n’s popularity is booming! This is fantastic, but has also led to a huge influx of new questions here on the community forum, and we’re struggling to keep up. As a result, some questions remain unanswered for a long time and that’s not the positive experience we want people to have when they’re learning n8n.

We’re already hiring more people for our Support team, but finding and training them will take at least a few months. In the mean time, we could really use your help by answering any questions that you can. And because we love you for doing that, we’ll be giving away some nice rewards every month!

Here’s how you can help

1. Check out the new sidebar on the left. Click ‘Find open questions’ to show topics that aren’t marked as ‘solved’ yet.

2. Answer questions in the Questions category. Be thorough and provide helpful examples, links to our documentation etc.
3. If the OP is satisfied with the solution, ask them to mark your answer as the solution.

4. Keep an eye on our new Support Leaderboard! It awards points for all your activity in the Questions category. You don’t need to register anywhere, just by replying here you’ll participate. In the first week of each month, we’ll post an overview of our support champions and ship out some cool rewards (see below).

Oh, and did I mention we’re hiring? Being active on our forum is a GREAT way to get on our radar, and we really love hiring from our own community. Just sayin’

Please do play nice: we will of course not allow cheating (like posting a question and answering it yourself, posting low-effort and AI generated replies or posting excessive numbers of replies to the same topic). Such cases will be disqualified from winning.

How does the scoring work?

From July 2025 on, points are only awarded when:

• Your reply is selected as the ‘solution’ by the OP.
• Your reply receives a ‘like’.

Of course, a solution gives more points than a like.

As you see, actually providing a correct answer gets you the most points. So be sure to remind the OP to mark your answer as the solution (see above)!

Rules

• Do not use AI to generate or format your answers (we can’t tell the difference, so both are disallowed).
• Only join a conversation if you have something substantial to contribute - like a genuine attempt to solve the issue, or asking for clarification when essential information is missing.
• No ‘solution sniping’ - related to the point above, don’t repeat solutions or add minimal information to try and get the solution in your name.
• Play fair. This is subjective, but you know when you’re not

Great idea! Totally agree that AI generated answers would harm the community and quality of the forum. However, an Ai helper would still provide incredible value. WASP, another YC backed startup, have solved this great in their discord with their ai Kapa. The way they have set it up is that when someone askes a questions, the ai support bot answers automatically, providing some real time help, and often that can resolve it already, but eventually a human support staff will also check in, provide more detailed help if its still needed, or close the questions.
