Webhook responds immediately (ignoring response node)

Hi,

I just upgraded to @1.36.1 and I’m seeing an issue where the webhook is ignoring the response node and is returning straight away, which is causing an error. I trigger my workflow in Xano and immediately get a response from n8n, but I can see the execution continues to run for 20 seconds after and completes.

This is what Xano sees almost instantly after triggering:

Any ideas as to what might be happening here?

Information on your n8n setup

  • n8n version: @1.36.1
  • Database (default: SQLite):
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app): n8n cloud
  • Operating system: Mac, Andorid, iOS, web (literally everywhere)

This could be related to the current issue on Cloud that we are looking into.

@Jon Ohh! That’s good to know. I was going round in circles trying to work it out. Is there a way I can track the status of the cloud issues?

The team fixed it before we managed to update the status page, You should be good to go now.
