What to do for imap when email doesn't have UID?

Unless I am missing somerthing, UID is the only way to use the imap node to manipulate email.

I have yet to find a UID field in my emails

anyone know a workaround?

What node are you talking about? I do not see any IMAP nodes in the list.

Anyway, UID may be the message-id property
