Whatsapp and Telegram 'on message' trigger returns Problem running workflow Bad request - please check your parameters

Describe the problem/error/question

Hi,

So i am running a n8n service on render and when i try to trigger the workflow on message i get error on both Whatsapp and Telegram. I have setup the keys and got successful connection when adding the client id, client secret, business id and access token for whatsapp and api key for telegram but when i try to run the workflow i get the error

Problem running workflow

Bad request - please check your parameters

In extra details I get:

WhatsApp Trigger: Invalid parameter

Telegram Trigger: Bad Request: bad webhook: An HTTPS URL must be provided for webhook

Also I have tried self hosting and tunneling with ngrok but it still gave the same error

  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app): render

Is it maybe because of region issues?
