@aburex100 from what I know, you have to initiate the chat from the recipient side first. The only way around this I believe, is to send a template message
So, I did some digging with Claude AI to find out what exactly the problem was, and I set up a webhook for my WhatsApp API, but after setting up and testing the webhook, I got this response
I have checked my account and it’s healthy. There are no issues on Meta’s end as far as I know. Has anyone ever encountered this issue? How did you fix it? Are there other options for WhatsApp apart from this route? Please help guys. Thank you
After sending a template message, you have a 24-hour window during which you can send all kinds of messages. If those 24 hours are up and there’s been no contact, you have to send another template message. I’m running into the same problem. Now I just send an open-window service message every morning. I’m also looking for a good solution, so I asked on this forum.
