I would like to create an agent that sends out WhatsApp outreach messages, i.e. initial messages to leads. I have therefore created an app in Meta Business Manager, a WhatsApp account with a telephone number, a system user, generated a token and created message templates, as to my knowledge only templates can be sent as initial messages.
In N8N, I wanted to test the whole thing with a manual trigger and a WhatsApp Send template node. However, I get the error shown in the screenshot and I have no idea what the problem could be. ChatGPT only suggests that it is supposedly due to the recipient’s number and that they apparently do not have WhatsApp. But for testing purposes, I simply selected my second mobile phone, which definitely has WhatsApp. So that can’t be the reason.
I look forward to any hints and tips.
