In my community account settings, the option to hide my public profile is disabled, yet others cannot see my profile - it redirects to the /profile-hidden showing “This user’s public profile is hidden.”
Hey @Gregory1 I can see it!
Yes @Gregory1 your profile still shows hidden from other users because this is a standard, automatic protection for brand new or low activity accounts on the community forum. It’s not a bug or a setting you can change.
The profile will automatically become publicly visible once, you’ve been an active member of the community for a short period.
Does this help?
Do you, by any chance, know any exact requirements to reach that threshold?
I’ve created a post, liked a few and browsed a bunch - that’s not peak activity, but it’s at least something in my view.
Seems weird to gate the profile behind an activity barrier, especially when the profile contains badges - only proof of completing the courses, which one can put on a resume. ![]()
You just need to read other posts, heart a few, and look around!
Good Luck Gregory!
