Why oAuth2 google changed rules?

Describe the problem/error/question

What is the error message (if any)?

Now all automations have collapsed , and I didn’t find any new data in the documentation n8n for creating a new credentials

Information on your n8n setup

  • n8n version: Version 1.74.3 self-host
  • Database (default: SQLite):
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app):. self-host
  • Operating system: mac

Where can I get data for new fields? The documentation in n8n is old

Hey @Tina_Anit,

Can you be more specific? It looks like you are using a Generic OAuth2 credential which has looked like that for a few years.

Are you sure you are using a Google Credential type?

The standard OAuth 2.0 endpoints for Google are:

Authorization URL:

https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/v2/auth

Access Token URL:

https://oauth2.googleapis.com/token

OMG thanks a lot !!!

But I still get an error, even though I entered everything correctly (((I shouldn’t have updated to 1.74.3

this is terrible! nothing works now

Try deleting your credentials completely and make new ones. This worked for me
