My wordpress account is not letting me introduce my wordpress credentials. It is constantly giving me an error. Couldn’t connect with these settings, “Service Temporary unavailable”. I have tried to put the password both with spaces and no spaces, and nothing worked. I made my application password through word press, and also the username but it still doesn’t work. I’m not sure what to do, someone help!!!
Hey @Armanext hope all is well, and welcome to the community.
Could you tell us more about your setup? Do you self-host your n8n? Do you self-host your wordpress? Are you the admin of the wordpress? Which version of both n8n and wordpress are you running? If not self-hosted, is you wordpress running behind Cloudflare? Do you have any security plugins enabled? Would you like to share outputs, screenshots, and just generally more details?
Thanks for the warm welcome! Here’s my setup: I’m running n8n version 1.102.3 in the cloud, not self-hosted. For WordPress, I have admin permissions and am using the latest version (likely 6.6.2 or similar as of July 2025). The WordPress site is hosted on IONOS shared hosting, which I believe runs Linux with Apache. It’s not behind Cloudflare, and I currently have no security plugins enabled. Happy to provide more details, outputs, or screenshots if needed—just let me know what would help!
Someone has any solution? I created my own node for wordpress with an http request and with a basic auth and it has worked correcly, why is it not working in this node.
