Workflow Suggestions

Hello, I am just after some suggestions for workflows. I have built a customer support workflow and it works great. I am just contemplating whether or not it is better to use just one main agent and call other workflows or branch to multiple agents using a text classifier. I have tried to use one main agent but I always struggle with my agent calling the correct tools so I just resorted to putting all the agents on the same workflow and have explicit guidelines for the text classifier. Anyone have feedback on this? I am open to hear people thoughts and opinions??

This seemed to work, but you need to make sure you speciify exactly how the agent should behave and the tools it had, it shouldn’t guess basically. so use system prompt etc with all tools avaible, in my instance the main ai agent know it can call sub agents, and those subagents have workflows etc attached or other tools.

Thanks for the reply. I have got workflows that are structured like this, however, I always struggle to get the main agent to call the tool. A lot of the time I use prompt generators to give me a very accurate prompt and the agent still fails to call the correct tools. Any suggestions because I would prefer to do it that way but always runs into that issue.

Which ai model are you using?
