Last week, 25 community members gathered in Amsterdam for our second meetup in the city. It was a fantastic evening of presentations, discussions, and connections with both new and familiar facesâsome of whom we first met back in July.
Presentations
We had three great speakers share their n8n projects:
Bram Knuever, Knitco: âMyMaco n8n Dashboardâ
Bram introduced MyMaco, his n8n add-on designed to manage and analyze all your n8n instances. For anyone interested, you can find the Docker image for MyMaco here: Docker Hub.
Jelle de Rijke, Datakoppelaars: ân8n Projects at Datakoppelaarsâ
Jelle showcased a fascinating project his company developed: using AI to rewrite complex legal documents into a more consumer-friendly format. The project involves a series of AI agents, each handling a different aspect of the process.
JP van Oosten, n8n: âCurrent AI developments at n8nâ
JP, from the n8n team, shared updates on exciting AI projects weâre working on, including improved chat and log interfaces and the new ânodes as toolsâ feature.
The videos of all these talks will be published on our YouTube channel over the next few days and added to this post.
Event Highlights
- One attendee traveled all the way from Finland just to connect with the n8n community!
- There were lively discussions about scaling self-hosted instancesâsome great insights were shared.
- Four participants discovered they all came from the same city and shared a car ride back!
- About 75% of attendees were already familiar with n8n, while the rest were exploring its potential as an alternative to more expensive or less flexible platforms.
Feedback and Thoughts for Next Time
- The format of one hour of presentations followed by 1.5 hours of networking worked perfectly.
Weâre already planning our next event, likely in about three months. If you have more ideas or would like to contribute with a talk or any other way in our next meetup, weâd love to hear from you! Just drop us a line at [email protected]. Weâre looking forward to making our next meetup even better, with your help!
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the vibrant discussions and ideas. Keep an eye on our event calendar - we canât wait to see you all (and hopefully some new faces) at the next meetup.
