Hey there, n8n community! Yesterday, fifteen enthusiastic n8n users gathered under the sunny skies of Amsterdam. Some faces were new, while others were long-time friends (shoutout to @bramkn!). It was wonderful to meet everyone and hear about their unique experiences with n8n.
We were invited by Young Creators - the Dutch community for young entrepreneurs and creators to the vibrant Startdock co-working space, at a five-minute stroll from Central Station. A special shoutout to our n8n Ambassador, @tino, for the meticulous planning and coordination that made this event a success!
We kicked things off indoors, welcomed by a fridge stocked with cold drinks. A quick welcome presentation set the tone, and then we headed upstairs to the roof terrace where we were greeted with a stunning view of Amsterdam. There, with slices of pizza in hand, we mingled and got to know each other better.
Some Highlights from the Stories Shared:
- One user described using AI to generate news summaries as podcasts.
- Another illustrated how they use n8n as the backend for building their access management system.
- A passionate member shared that they subscribed to our cloud service simply because they believed n8n deserved it.
- There were calls to add more features - can we please add folders?
- We discussed the potential of building businesses around n8n.
- @mario_haarmann even drove all the way from Germany to join us!
Feedback and Thoughts for Next Time:
- The relaxed and social setting was highly appreciated.
- Attendees want to see real use case demonstrations—‘live’ workflows in action.
- There was a suggestion to do a quick introduction round at the start to know who everyone is and what they do.
