I kept catching myself working in the wrong environment in n8n, especially when switching between client workflows and personal projects. There’s no single, always-visible indicator, and that’s bitten me more than once. So I built a small Chrome extension that adds a global LIVE / DEV indicator across the UI. While I was at it, I added a few optional, character-based themes (screenshot attached) just to make long sessions easier on the eyes.
Sharing this mainly to get feedback from people who manage multiple environments — curious if this is something others have also felt the need for, or if there’s a better approach you’ve found.
