Hello fellow n8nr’s,
For the past year I’ve been down the rabbit hole of turning n8n into an RPA. One of the side quests Ive recently been fascinated by and frustrated with is simply running local executions from N8n cloud. Imagine a simple way to send an api call from the cloud and have that command be run on your local computer.
I started building Localfy.cloud with those intentions and have been realized why n8n likely isn’t chasing this feature themselves: Desktop apps are hard.
I’ve finished my MVP but now am having to deal with getting flagged as a Trojan by the operating system and other anti-virus concerns. At this point im considering if it’s worth it.
Would you guys have any use cases for orchestrating local automations from the cloud. I put a few use cases I thought of on the landing page but am looking for motivation to keep building.
All the support for the N8n as an RPA workflow is what started me on this journey so thanks for all your support this far.
