Code Node Stuck on Infinite Loading in n8n (http://localhost:5678/)

Hey everyone,

I’m facing an issue with the Code node in my n8n workflow. When I run the node, the progress bar shows that it’s loading, but it never completes—it just keeps loading indefinitely.

• I started running the Code node yesterday at 10 PM, and my PC was left on overnight.
• This morning, I checked, and it was still loading with no output.
• There were no errors or logs shown in the command line (CMD), and nothing seemed to happen.

I tried restarting n8n and even reloading the workflow, but the issue persists. Has anyone encountered this before? Any ideas on how to debug or fix it?

Can you copy paste the entire workflow json into the code markdown when you click the ‘</>’ button on the forums here?

Could you explain if this is n8n cloud instance or if this is a local docker n8n?

But once i stop it and rerun, it just works again.

Same issue: it’s working when using Python, but it’s getting stuck in a loop when using JavaScript on the code node.
